Kunnuvilai Corps is one of the oldest traditional corps in the Nagercoil Division. The early believers were quite impoverished, and most of them laboured in agriculture and as porters. The Salvation Army visited Kunnuvilai on December 1892 as continuation of famous 'BOOM MARCH'.
